Was the confirmation sent via email or mail? I've got an email from BHS today, to say that mail has been posted and parents should all receive them within this week.

I don't think mine is a confirmation letter, here is my email:-

"Please be advised that the result of your child's application to RCHK will be posted via the Hong Kong Post at 12:30 PM today. You should receive the letter tomorrow or the day after tomorrow depending on HK Post Office's service schedule. We appreciate your understanding that we do not have the manpower to answer 480 inquires, therefore NO result will be released over the phone or by email at this stage. Thank you for your patience and support.

However, please do call 3556 3556 for the admissions office after 13 February if you do not receive the letter. Thank you for your attention. "

i think it should be different from yours ...

I can't receive the email confirmation but some of the parents have email offer from KJS already.

Thank you very much. My son is cat.2 but he is studying in the ESF kindergarten.

but I am not lucky at all~~~
RC declined my son's application and he is not even be counted in waiting list at all.

And my son applied for SJS as well....
They hvn't send the letter to my office, they send to my home address. I gotta wait until late tonite while I back home.

Jesus, hope he can get in though

My daughter got accepted by RC, and wait list from SJS! I am so so happy! I think I am not going to reply for the wait list of SJS, I will go straight ahead to RC, my daughter said she likes the school!

SJS have private operated school bus going to yuen long district. It takes around 45 min. You can call 2471-4138 Mr Yuen. I'm not sure about PTA school bus this year, you better check with the school.

Congratulations! Hop your son continue to do well in primary. Seeing the child overcoming another challenge is probably ne of the biggest rewards of parenthood~

Hope you don't mind me asking you some questions about esf kinder - which one does your son go to? Was it difficult to get into being cat2? We fall under the Abacus catchment and I would like to know what more I can do to increase his chance of getting accepted by Abacus kinder. He is in cat1.

如果是KENNEDY SCHOOL, 建議你可去它的網站看看它09/10年的ANNUAL REPORT, 入面資料豐富!

It state:
Our Year One students come from over
seven kindergartens across Hong Kong.
The main feeder kindergartens are
ESF Hillside formerly Sheung Wan,
Woodlands (Wah Fu), Small World and Sunshine House.

My son has got an Year 1 offer in SJS in this Sept. In the interview, he was in Cat 1 because we applied from UK and my son doesn't know Chinese very much. He did the interview on 19 Jan and received a confirmation letter after Chinese New Year. Now, he study in YMCA International Kindergarten.

Thank you so much. I have called Mr. Yuen and booked a seat for Keson. But it is a very early bus...6:40am :O(
