我諗老師report大部份tick晒最好果格就算成績好好，同其他學校比都唔會差。唔似香港Band 3考第一都差過Band 1考近尾。

我女小六時已經有唔少考試，同學之間亦會知道邊個成績好，邊個唔好。report會分等級，如果全A*，成績已經好好。如果一直到高中，都係A*，我覺得IB成績40分以上肯定冇問題。冇必要和LS學生成績比，大家考評標準不一樣。

冇考慮過排名或同其他同學比較，集中睇係佢有冇盡自身能力去做到最好，呢方面從assessment、ATLs、criterion placements 再加老師面談，都有足夠資訊可以去理解

You can ask the home room teachers of your child round about where he is in terms of each of the key subjects in his class. They should be able to tell you if he is in upper quartile, middle or needs improvement. If you talk about inter-school comparison, you can refer to the past records of that school in general against other IS and you can gauge the level of academic vigor at your child’s school.Eg if your child’s school keeps producing steady average IB results in the region of late thirties, if your child is remarked as above average by teachers, should generally expect to score around late thirties too in the normal course of things if the child keeps up with his performance.

我兩個孩子小學至中學畢業都無同同學仔比較過，主要透過同老師溝通去了解情況，如有地方要留意老師也會出聲。中學有測驗考試，ib school 每科有4個評分 criteria, 會知道那方面要留意下，每年亦有 teacher parents days 去同每科老師面談，到最後就係睇下成績能否符合心儀大學同學科要求。唔記得係三年定四年級起，會考 International School Assessment 的英文和數學卷，孩子在無操練情況下可反映其水平，報告會列出孩子成績在全球考生中位置，可作為參考。

ESF 系的小學，無考試，但有report 及3 ways conference, 透過孩子的功課質素和老師評語，可以了解孩子的能力。
當年完成IBPYP前，會有final year project, 其實家長也有機會觀摩其他同學的project 及presentation, 我自己都覺得大開眼界。
中學之後，測驗功課評核均增加，孩子也會自我反省，開始對自己有要求。

School average of MAP in HK is higher than US average. Use your school’s average as a reference, and it would be a reasonable reflection of the kids.

我仔學校有做InCAS assessment, 係同英國同齡小朋友嘅程度比較，得分係以嗰科嘅「年齡程度」去表達（例如英文屬8歲程度）。不過我想知InCAS有幾可靠，因為好似人人都考得好高分，我仔本身英文internal assessment 有一項未達標，但佢InCAS又高過自己年齡。
有冇人可以解答下？

MAF is for US schools.
Don’t mind the percentile of any single test of your kids too much. The trend of the percentile is better for your reference.

My kids only took the ISA ones up to year 10, I think.The following is a sample individual report for ISA science (can't find a sample for English).I find the report quite useful and keep track of their results over the years.

其實無論咩學制，都會有工具去評核學生的學習情況和進度。
你擔心的是自己孩子的competitiveness? 講真，同學之間點都會知自己大概在咩位置，到高中時更甚。

Your kids’ school has MAP test in elementary and IB before graduate high school right? If yes, take MAP as the accurate assessment. Teachers’ comments are their expertise which can be adjusted with your person knowledge of the kid.

ESF中學時每個學期都有一份online student report, 裏面每科都面有一個類似A .. 或 8， 7..的評級和老師的評語。因為沒有Year 10前都沒有考試。所以評級都是按平時的小測驗來的。平時的小測驗基本上上堂留心都已經可以應付到。因為沒有考試和分數，同學之間基本上唔會點講成績，亦都唔會有比較。我記得好似會在Y7和Y10做2 次Mid yis 的評估.
按自己的經驗如果評級大部份A的同學，最終IB都40分以上。

看來暫時只可以睇住 map 成績作準
暫時我又唔見我仔學校大埔ASHK的老師評分有問題，他們都好嚴謹，唔會鬆手，去年同今年老師不同，但比的assessment或tests 分數又好match仔在學校的表現，也與MAP tests各科成績相乎。我見評分都好fair and reasonable.
