(星島日報報道)提供「一條龍」教育的英基學校協會，明天開始招收一八年入學的學生，一五年出生的可報讀英基學校（見圖）的K1班，一三年及○七年出生的應分別報讀第一班及第七班。英基設有提名權計畫（Nomination Rights Scheme）供家長申請，讓符合英基學校入學要求的學生優先入讀，個人提名權每個五十萬元，每年最多一百五十個。
一八年入學的英基新生，明天起至九月三十日接受網上申請。英基設有提名權計畫，包括個人及企業提名權方案，讓符合入學要求的學生優先入讀英基學校及兩所私營獨立學校。個人提名權每人五十萬元，每年最多有一百五十個，所有提名權計畫收入將會全數預留作基建項目之用。假如學生未能通過面試，將獲退還個人提名權按金。
學費方面，一八學年英基學校第一至二班學費為每年十萬六千五百元，第三至六班為八萬九千二百元，第七至十三班分別逾十二萬元。英基提供小學至中學「一條龍」教育，十二月一日前入讀英基學校第六班的學生，均可獲派英基中學的學位。

If u are living is Hk island , fair chance . If u are living in NT , or kln, no chance ( slim chance for Clearwater bay campus )

What is ur catchment zone? U have no choice choosing between kjs or beacon hill . If u fall into kjs , sorry , no chance. If beacon hill, still can try , but very slim chance

Can apply for RC & DC.

Dc is a bit far. But can I apply for it if I live in Kowloon side? Or I can only apply for these school if I purchase the nomination right thing? Thanks

No catchment zone regulations for RC & DC, students from any district can apply. The nomination right gives you priority for interview. If you don't pay nomination rights, there is fair chance that you don't even get an interview from ESF schools 
(you can read the admission priority information at ESF website)

But I saw some posts saying it's not guarantee to have an offer from esf even we got the nominee rights. And it's like 50/50 only 
and it's not refundable. I shall do more researches on the Ma on Shan and discovery bay one. Thank you so much!! Btw can I apply both RC /DC and one of the esf schools that require to follow the catchment zone? Thank you so so much

If you are a holder of nomination right, you will be put on the priority list no 4. If you fail the interview , they won't take away your $500k.

I don't really get point 6 & 7.. what I get is we got $50k of the nomination right fee back? And the rest of it will be kept by esf?

Yes, in your case, it is RC, DC and BHS.
Nomination rights are not transferable, i.e. if you pay for nomination rights at BHS, it only guarantees an interview at BHS, not RC & DC.
Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, u can apply RC or DC, no matter u hold NR or not. The NR is for level up the priority of interview only.

From my understand, 2018-19 Y1 application is for child who was born in Jan-Dec 2013.
I think you may need to read through the whole Admission section on esf website which clearly explains the requirements, procedures and everything.

Yes for RC , but for other Esf foundation schools , the application for 2018 year 1, is only for children born in 2013. For DC, not sure

Wondering if you guys know whether there is strict age range for Esf kindies too (for K1)? For year 2018, they only admit children born from Jan to dec 2015 as stated on their website. My son was born in dec 2015, just wondering if I may apply as super big B next year (for K1 in 2019 instead)?

Also, if you worry about your kid too small, then you really don't need to. I don't know the reason why but at least in the esf kinder my kid attended and the esf primary school my kid is now attending, there are lots of small kids born in the last 2-3 months of the year. My kid is born in June but from what i know, at least 2/3 (or may be even 3/4) of his classmates are younger than him.

Thanks for the reply! Very helpful - yes perhaps no harm to call them to find out. At young age, a few months' difference can mean a big gap ... so I prefer my son to be big b. Good to know esf do not just prefer big bs like a lot of local kindies ......do u mind sharing which esf kindy ur chid went to before? Thanks again for ur sharing :)

For 2018 admission to year 1, I think the NR for all popular foundation schools (e.g. BHS, KJS, SJS) had long been sold out. The numbers available are so small that you do need to line up very early on the first day at the office. For others, you may still try your luck. If you buy NR, the catchment requirment is waived. But the school bus net work may then not cover your home.

Strict rule for esf kindy, my girl was born in Dec and I asked the same before. So I got her in according to the school schedule.

Please ask ESF. NR quota for foundation schools is still available.

kindergarten does follow the rule of priority. such as sibling, alumni and staff etc.

Depends on which Esf kinder , wks, TY , Tung Chung interview all k1 applicants ( from past history ). Hillside, determined by random number. Cwb , I am not sure
