ESF Abacus I don't think phonics is taught as much as local private kindergarten. But the teacher said they do teach some.
Actually my feeling is 'academic' is not a focus in ESF kindergarten.

They don't teach phonics in kindergarten, but start teaching it in Y1 in primary school.
