Top Universities 2014 (re: HKSES)

Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme has chosen 4 world university ranking tables published by QS, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Times Higher Education and US News and World Report as reference for qualifying top universities. Based on these ranking bodies, it is attempted to (1) sum up all 4 rankings and (2) sum up only the middle 2 rankings while the highest and lowest rankings are not used. The scores of the top universities are ranked in the following lists :-

The above universities are considered to be all-rounded while some universities may excel in certain subjects but are not included in the above lists for having lower scores in some criteria set by the ranking bodies.
