ESF Y7中學轉KGV

早幾年仍是去KGV, 其實現在咁樣ESF更加表現出唔憂收生。

CWBS直升KGV，個SYSTEM只會問你要升中定唔要升中，無得揀學校

如果因一D需要（e.g. sibling）想去另外一D ESF既中學，就要另外再同學校申請

其實港島中學考試成績都唔差, 而且中學生大個仔大個女, 跨區返學應沒大問題

其實間學校本身唔差，不過location差，見到啲校車時間就算住港島區都要6點幾上車，何況住九龍甚至沙田嗰啲…真係幾辛苦

Overall: 36.1 (Avg) | 31.2% (40+)

1. STC: 37 (Avg) | 39.1% (40+)

2. RC: 37 (Avg) | 30% (40+)

3. KGV: 36.4 (Avg) | 31% (40+)

4. SIS: 36.1 (Avg) | 35% (40+)

5. IS: 36 (Avg) | ~30% (40+)

6. WIS: 36 (Avg) | 27% (40+)

7. DC: 34.7 (Avg) | 23.2% (40+)

To me it actually doesn't make much difference to consider 成績 for ESF secondary as most of their average are only within 1 point even for STC - tho their 40+ percentage is significantly higher. Secondary education to me is more about the student's own ability and discipline and the foundation he or she had in primary.

agree!上了中学要準備公開試！更需要精神及時間温習！

其實間間國際學校大部份學生考到40 以上都係靠外補，同自己主動去溫習。基本上入邊間都冇所謂。

好多學生都有補習，但考到40+又不一定「靠」補習。但同意ESF 的中學成績其實好接近，每年都有少少上落。

我覺得間間esf中學差不多，除咗愉景灣，可能比較遠，收到好質素學生就難啲。不過ESF考到40+以上，大部份都係由自己小學讀上，反而唔係LS 中途插入嚟。

Agree it's not a huge difference.  Parents who expect higher proficiency in Chinese may prefer RC:

2024 bilingual diploma (assuming Chi A and Eng A):

RC - 27% and STC - 10%

我自己住港島都覺得中學唔就腳，一諗番學同放學，甚或有活動晏走的話就頭痕。夜晚條路人都唔多個。

其實IS的南亞人不是大家想像的，好多成績都好勁家教都嚴，英國grammar school中印巴學生都係大戶。

There is a wide variety of Indians out there and I have met wonderful Indians at work (yes some of them from Grammar indeed) and some classmates or friends. But the Indian population at KGV/KJS are just not the best bunch you can expect. Rude, rough and snobbish etc. Own experience and observation, for your reference only.

FYI, this year Year 6 students at KJS got KGV Year 7 confirmation on 22 Nov and need to place deposit by 6 Dec. So will probably know if KGV may have Year 7 spots available after 7 Dec.
