IGCSE 考試，香港考和其他地方考，結果是否一樣？

IGCSE 考試的試卷有分R卷和非R卷，
R卷是畀非英國學校學生考；
非R卷畀英國學校學生考，
請問這樣理解對嗎？
另外，兩份卷的marks distribution 都有差異，咁R卷畀世界各地的同學考，應該不論在世界任何地方考得出來的結果都應該一樣，請問這樣理解對嗎？
我咁問因有朋友同我講，在英國學校考非R數學卷，容易得9，因為避開了一向數學好的印度或者內地人。。。。但在英國考igcse的同學都係來自世界各地，所以我諗唔通，想搵大家一齊研究下。

Customers whose centres are based in specified countries must use alternative option codes, where applicable, as listed in section 6 of the Information manual (for example, Biology 4BI1 R) for available exam series. 

Pearson requires the following countries to use the alternative option codes: 

Australia, Azerbaijan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Oman, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
