2 hours for one way?! If I have to commute for two hours to get to work everyday, I don’t think I’ll enjoy it tbh…. Any other alternatives to choose from?

我聽過有人臨開學ESFcall佢可以面試要交ref letter, 但因LS仍在暑假反應冷淡有點困難，ESF話交唔到就唔會confirm位，好采最後都交到收咗。
2hr 係來回定一程？一程2hr真係unacceptable, 真係咁想讀不如搬屋。

Would like to know if it is common practice for school to send reference letter directly to another school only? As my kid’s school refuse to give me the reference letter and said only if the school we are applying send them a request

I think so! 學校會唔會擔心俾家長打開見到內容唔高興，會唔會俾壓力學校改㗎

If normally schools don’t issue directly to parents how can they upload during application

以我所知一申請就要交reference letter . 我交果張所謂reference letter 只係寫幾月幾日至幾月幾日喺呢一間學校度讀，就係咁，冇評語。都冇問題。之後等咗兩年有位， interview完收咗，再問我拎最update嘅 reference letter .

The original School would ask you to have the email address from ESF, and then a request should be made by the ESF admin staff. For my son’s case, I informed the teacher of the original school to send a reference letter to ESF directly.
