Actually for smaller colleges, and even for some big ones, they welcome families to come and join the students every year. All parents would help students move in or move out. Nothing odd there. I’m curious why hk uni keep parents out of the picture completely.

Anyone has students flying from US to HK recently or planning to do so? My student is flying on CX from SFO. Any idea if there is PCR test there at airport and how long it takes for results to come out ?

正在考慮是否要陪她過去開學，但係香港的21日隔離政策又好難搞，非常之煩惱。

兒子跟你丈夫一樣，建議我用IBKR 轉外幣兌換。我深入研究過，係好些，但跨行轉帳也有手續費，我要經常轉來轉去冇乜著數，如果一次過兌換，加上手續費都有著數。

For certain stock, the unit price is US$500+ or close to 1000, one share is not a small amount for students.

我完全不懂這些, 我大概知道, 譬如他要美元時, 就把港元存進IBKR賬戶, 然後提款以美元為單位.
當然金額小的, 他不會這樣做.

兒子有朋友用IBKR 兌加拿大元，轉一筆錢直接去加拿大某銀行個人戶口，都係有麻煩，最後要加幣轉回香港個人戶口，再轉去加拿大個個戶口。

IBKR 可以炒埋外幣，bitcoins，所以幾多元化，外幣兌換價差較窄。

是否方便自己就要仔細睇清楚，我計完係有少少着數，不過多咗轉來轉去，我覺得麻煩。

So that’s why I say buy one share is good . Can consider etf for us equity.

剛剛查看了，最細單位係1股。

我有買巴郡B股，300+一股，A股就貴囉！
