Year 11 state school 不能插班怎辦

我有朋友在香港讀完中四去英國讀Y12 state school, 亦有朋友在香港讀完中四去英國讀Y11 state school

可以申請到state Y11? 是否入學時還未滿16歲，可否PM學校名？(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)(emoji)

不過始終都係佢嘅前途，究竟揀Igcse,定係sixth form, 都係要諗清楚

其實我朋友是Y10 summer term 插班入state school ，上年四月英國停課在HK 上online, 直至九月開學直升Y11, 我都好奇怪第三個term 都可以插班，私校Y10 未必比插班，但學校名我唔記得咗啊

入學時已滿16歲

如果我無記錯，state school 係跟年齡入學，無得揀跳或留一級。同埋你無GCSE 成績，state school可以讀 six ...

我女兒上年完成中四後，往英國升讀Y11 （1-yr GCSE course) , 入學時她未滿16歲

同意每個人情況不一，我女中學同班兩位同學，都係完成中四後直接上Y12,  他們已滿16歲，而且在校時亦成績卓越，讀完中四直上Y12, 絕對無問題；我女想A-level 修Chem, 而佢在中四時並沒有修此科，所以想在Y11打好一點基礎先上Y12。

一般一年制GCSE 只會考6-8科左右，有別於傳統由Y9, Y10讀起之考10科以上。  每人情況不一，希望你找到最合適自己孩子的方案

謝謝你的回覆，小兒能力還可但動力一般，真的令我很頭痕，不過應該都會俾佢讀Y11先，感激。

我仔都係讀完中三足15歲過英國讀Y10，當年報名大把學校可以收，當時有報Lancing College, Shrewsbury ⋯⋯ 想報既都可以報喎。另外又係大把學校有一年制GCSE course ,  成績好既有Stephen Perse Foundation 起劍橋區，總之大把。

State school 一定跟年齢。就算讀完1 year GCSE 超齡的話都入唔到state school sixth form.
好多讀完F4 去UK 讀6 form
