我現在都是了解中， 因我女英國學校裡面 有多個科目都是IGCSE , 所以 實際上與香港 課程或考試上有幾大出 ...

如果同一個 exam board, Syllabus 就一樣，不過香港考就多數考R paper, 跟英國唔同，我女兒十月經ITS 考左兩科

IAL/IGCSE係深过英國人考的AL同GCSE的，根據我孩子學校要求，外國人係英國留學係要考IAL同IGCSE，冇得揀考英藉學生的AL同GCSE。

另外，英國至今冇話停考IAL同IGCSE

聽講GCSE’s English 會比 IGCSE’s English as a first language 深啲嘅，其他科會唔會係 depends on which exam board you applied?

英文唔知GSCE同IGCSE Eng as 1st language 有冇分別，但眼見mother language 係英文嘅學生英文科成績反而麻麻，因為佢地grammar通常比較差，扣哂分。

其他學校有冇指定外國生考IAL/IGCSE我唔清楚.

但一般GCSE科如Maths, Phy, Chem Bio之類就比IGCSE科明顯淺，因為我孩子初時以為自己係考GCSE, 所以睇左大部分內容比較过。

唔同exam board 嘅範圍會有唔同。我仔學校唔同科嘅exam board 都會唔同。揀咗嗰科就唔理本地生還是國制生，都係考嗰個exam board。

係呀 ， Edexcel Maths 都有不同卷，我女學校是考Higher  ，我都是睇返學校的Email 各科Exam board 及 試卷資料才知 。

以我所知，唔淨係深淺嘅問題。IGCSE甚至唔同GCSE exam board嘅Syllabus範圍，問題嘅形式，答題嘅方法都有唔同。唔同學校，唔同科嘅head of department有唔同嘅喜好。（例如history考嘅period可能唔同，English考嘅specified text又會唔同，Latin淨係得OCR或者iGCSE有得考，題型都幾唔同。有啲老師有preference。）

咁英國本土的學生考GCSE，但independent school 又多數考IGCSE，咁做學校ranking又以GCSE去計，咁咪好難去比較學生水平

In relation to IGCSEs, which applies to Science, Maths, English Language, Computer Science, Chinese, Geography and EAL here , the examination boards have notified schools that it is their intention for the May/June IGCSE series to take place in the summer. We are working on the assumption that this will be the case and are continuing to teach the curriculum as normal, albeit remotely at the moment. Please rest assured that we are confident that we will cover all aspects of the course and still have time for revision. We have been advised that modifications will be made to the exam papers; as yet, we haven’t received further details but we are monitoring the situation closely and will provide further information as soon as it is available.

咁即係IGCSE是有機會繼續舉行 ！

是呀，就算本土學生都是考IGCSE .

其實英國 independent schools 大部份都考 GCSE and A level，當然有些學校會因應學生和不同科目提供 IGCSE，而香港也有這情況，有些科目例如 Art and Design ，ESF schools 揀 GCSE 俾學生考，你都估佢唔到，所以最緊要係清楚知道自己孩子間學校邊個科目  GCSE level and A level 係跟邊個 examination boards，英國學校一定會在入學前後定時提供 updated curriculum 俾家長知道，緊貼學校有關資料，再有細節想確定就 email tutor or academic director 也可以了解到。
