The 2020 HKDSE examination results have been released.

Our Sixth Form graduates have performed creditably in the recent Diploma of Secondary Education examinations, reflecting their hard work and the dedication of their teachers. We wish them the best as they move on to the next stage of their life’s journey. We pray that they will carry forward the motto of the school and continue to pursue excellence in all their endeavors.

The results are as follows:

No. of Level 5**: 129 (11.9%)
No. of Level 5 or above: 549 (50.7%)

Some of our students have attained outstanding results. 7 of our girls have obtained 5** in 6 subjects, another 6 of them have obtained 5** in 4 subjects.

The performance of our students in the DSE was as follows: 89.9% of Good Hopers met the basic entrance requirement for admission to publicly funded undergraduate programmes (3322).

Our best students: Mico Chan (S.6F) achieved Two 5**, Six 5* and M1 5*, Rachel Tang (S.6F) achieved Two 5**, Four 5* and M1 5*,  Camille Lee (S.6D) achieved Two 5**, Two 5*, Sannya Li (S.6D) achieved Two 5**, Two 5*, Agnes Chung (S.6F) achieved Two 5**, Two 5* and Yoyo Mak (S.6F) achieved One 5**, Four 5*.

其實SPCS校內最top果批學生好多都係考GCE，純用DSE成績不能完全反映SPCS真實水平。

佢唔全部考 DSE 都可以 keep 住做到 Band 1A 成績。

搭嘴問問，如果全部，係指全部學生，結果會更好嗎？
PS：某光環更大的名校，有人中五轉英國讀。再以XX試考回入讀HKU。家長語，擔憂某主課肥佬(自己知自己事，平時測考該科麻麻)。而經常見到的卻是：放洋的都係成績勁的學生。考GCE-A是否有異曲同工之妙？

咁要睇佢考 IAL 嗰批學生各科能力有幾 top 了

上面假設佢批學生科科，包括中文，都 fit 爆。根據用家，精英班大部份都揀考 IAL。咁相信入精英班條件都係總成績最好嗰批。

鄧顯同qc今年出咗成績？mcs同lsc又排響邊呢？

(純用家八掛分享) 以SPCS計，可能多左學生決定到海外升學，又或者以GCE成績入大學神科，以致近年考GCE的考生人數比例確係多左，校內所謂精英班學生也多以考GCE為主，以前考GCE人數應不及全校三份一，現在已多於三份一，不過學校都有規定考DSE人數不能少於一半，致令到學生就算想考GCE可能都要係成績較好果批。


以今年計，用GCE成績入到醫科有 7人，但用DSE成績入的應不到3人，但考GCE人數只係佔全校三份一多點，可想而知個傾斜度有好大分別。
