For boys; Adams, RGS High Wycombe and Reading School. The latter is weekly boarding only. As all three are grammar schools, all need to sit entrance test.

There are no girls state boarding in the UK as far as I know. Only boys and co-ed are available. Maybe you can consider co-ed?

Yes, less than 50%, and many parents would hold a boarding place way in advance.

我小朋友都係同樣情況，而家f3, 下年去英國，9月15歲讀y11, 應該唔會插班讀y11, 如果跟你選擇1，讀私校1年gcse, 係咪而家就要讀名，因為Bno 計劃未清楚，我哋都唔肯定係咪下年去。如果下年去到英國，仲可唔可以報到1gcse呢？謝謝你解答

I like this idea. My problem is
1) can I first see which state school accept the child ( given he has the GCSE result ) then I choose to live near that place ?

Year 12 係唔需要跟 catchment area, 你報其他區嘅學校都可以。但當然都要方便小朋友返學。

入讀Year 12需要有gcse成績
