I hate nothing more than things that take away peoples sensible mind.  Politics is one of them, there are other things but I better not say here.

A lie told a thousand times will become truth to some people.   It is not new, the “big lie” technique was used by Hitler, used by trump and they all worked.

From my social circle and what happen in the news recently, people tend to believe what they read, part of the reason is that everyone receive so much information each day and we can’t possibly fact check everything.  With less and less filtering.

我自已睇了三十多年, 歷史,經濟,時事,…軍事．
人類意識,十分容易受控制．

The government wants everyone to believe what they do are perfect.

The anti-government wants everyone to believe what government do are all wrong.

This happens everywhere including mature democracies.It is normal.

Only places like dictatorship countries have lopsided opinion.

The truth, is always somewhere in the middle.

The danger of politics is that it asks people to fall into one of the extreme, instead of using your brain.   And all too often people fall into the extremes.

這個當然。「上等人」一個決定影響千千萬萬人，當然要看全局，要考慮的事情當然多。平民只看自己利益。

看過一本書，解釋為何風災下，政府不應該控制發電機價格。市民只看到自己比多左錢，但他們不會看全局。政府要看全局。

以上不是說不控制價格絶對正確，只是帶出不同位置看東西不同。

Can you screen your relatives?

You screen you friends just because they don’t filter messages and genuinely think by sharing they are doing good to the group?

By the meaning of screening. It means you don't add whoever to the whatsapp group. I have sensible whatsapp groups in which we can have nice convo like what we are doing here. My relatives don't share whatever they saw from the net too (which is a good thing).

For the same reason, I have never joined any school/ class whatsapp groups at all.

No, the better way to do it is to listen and think about what they said OBJECTIVELY without going through a political or conspiracy lens.  

From both sides.  

If you listens to only one side stories you become one of the extremes.  Truth is almost always, ALWAYS, in the middle.

I have different views from you but anyway.....

Btw, there is still NO ONE to answer my previous question on why the govt let the protentially contiguous mainlanders flood into HK and why we have to be responsible for their medical bills. What's the logic behind it?
