Went for the 1st interview. I dont think their interviewer asked questions that really tested the kids aptitude. The teacher showed my kid a picture of a man, women and a old women with white hair and asked him which one was the mother or father and grandmother.I thought you didnt even show a picture of a baby how would my kid know they are mother/father. My kids grandmother doesnt even have white hair!
Lo and behold after the interview we sat next to a wall with actual pictures of parents with their children. My kid suddenly shouted out 'MaMa' 'PaPa' and 'Baby' pointing at and correctly identifying them in the pictures...(out of curiosity to prove this wasnt a fluke, I repeated this at home and my kid only gave the answer when she saw pictures of a mother / father with a baby)
Afterward the teacher showed my kid a badly handdrawn picture of women holding a triangle shaped object. And asked my kid what it was. I am embarrassed to admit that I was a bit confused myself. Was it a handbag or plastic bag? ..
My kid was then shown a hand-drawn picture of a man & woman. Was asked which was a man and which was a woman. By then I'd given up already. Don't even know how to teach my kid the difference between man & woman at such a young age.
We didnt get 2nd interview offer but Im not too worried because we have a few good offers already..
