Information from 廸昇: I am writing to inform you of some changes to Concord’s admissions process. After several years of using UKiset to evaluate applications to the college the following changes will be implemented.
In order to provide Concord’s admission process with greater rigour, we feel it necessary to replace UKiset with assessments prepared by Concord College and hosted via the Mercer|Mettl Exam Platform. The Mettl Secure Browser will enable the college to host the entry tests in a safe environment whilst a member of the college team continually monitors the live webcam feed and screen recording. These new entrance tests can be taken either within the student’s home or at the office of their educational agent and will be scheduled throughout the year by the college. Students will need access to a computer or laptop with internet access and a webcam. The tests taken will depend on the student’s chosen A level/GCSE subjects and may include Mathematics, English and Science.
To cover the increased administrative costs associated with the invigilation, hosting and processing of these new entry tests, the college has applied an increase to the registration fee due for each application. With effect from 1st November 2020 the registration fee will increase to £300.
