A piece of copper of mass 200g at 300C is put into a 120g aluminium cup containing 600g of water at 15C. Find the final temperature of them at thermal equilibrium.
Specific heat capacity of copper = 385Jkg-1C-1
Specific heat capacity of aluminium = 900Jkg-1C-1

Let T be the final temperature.
  0.200 (300 - T) 385 = 0.120 (T - 15) 900 + 0.600 (T - 15) 4200
  23100 - 77T = 180T - 1620 + 2520T - 37800
  62520 = 2777 T
  T = 22.5 deg-C

應該係 108T not 180T
Therefore, 23.1 deg C

Deg-C 加 273 就係 deg-K，計算結果一樣。

我以前中三學(heat, light & sound)，如果中三未學，咁中四學都唔出奇。王爸爸講咗degree K和degree Celsius嘅關係。我反而最怕light嗰部分，因為要記住點畫啲光經過lens同mirror後，image個位置同變化。

中三Phy都係每樣教D。

Heat部分祇教Heat capacity/Specific heat capacity，未教Latent heat。
