想問有冇Kellett 讀緊Senior School 的評語(好的或不好的也想參考)?
讀書氣氛好嗎?師資好嗎?適合什麼類型小朋友?英制比IB有沒有什麼優勢?
新手謝謝分享🙏🏻

Kellet senior school - Pros - state of the art facilities at Kowloon Bay campus, good teaching staff & educational support team, wide range of sports teams; Cons - most locals will consider its Chinese way too easy, partly bcos students need to learn one more European language (other than English) at senior school, and partly bcos student mix has very very few Chinese speakers, so kids don’t have enough opportunities to practise

iGCSE+A levels are knowledge based with a structured curriculum, eg chapter 1 is about earth, chapter 2 is about atmosphere etc. Exams on how much knowledge students have acquired. Better for students good at absorbing knowledge by reading & listening.

IB is more project based. Through collaborative projects, students learn how to cooperate and figure out solutions and answers, and then make presentations on their findings. Better for students who like to speak up and discuss.

If you have plans to send your child to the UK for senior boarding school or university, iGCSCs+A levels are a smoother transition.

Thanks very much.   Appreciated.
I have preference to go with IGCSE before considering if A level or IB is more suitable for my kid.  Pity that there is not choice and will need to change school in case IB is preferred.  Their A level results look satisfactory though.
