雖然出了幾個狀元，但看平均分真的較其他IS低！

不會吧！一般IS學生(year 10-11)考IELTS 也可以有 7.5 。但是，我相信要他們考DSE5**是有難度。

唔肯定。IB Eng A 多數 Lang Lit or Lit. 好難同 second language DSE 比。

一樣好肯定，讀 Law 睇書唔夠快夠多，寫野唔夠快夠好，會好辛苦。

我覺得 IELTS 好睇情況
我讀大學時有得免費考
但 Writing 只得7.0
所以拉低了整體的分數
我心諗：好在唔洗錢

現在要2千多。可能出版人想DSE考生做足準備才考IELTS。

DSE, IELTS 也是第二語言而設，好難比較 IB Eng A.

use UK UCAS tariff points as a reference:
IB HL 4 = 24 points; SL 5 = 16 points

DSE 4 = 32 points; 3 = 16 points

原來沒有這要求。(在HKU 大學requirement 裡也沒有注明）有IB生Eng b total score 43/45,今年一樣入了HKU  ...

Bachelor of Laws: Minimum score of 38 out of 42 (excluding bonus points) with a score of 6 in each of the examined subjects


Bachelor of Business Administration (Law) and Bachelor of Laws (Double Degree):
From past experience, candidates with predicted IB score of 38 or better (including bonus points) in a single sitting would make the application competitive for admission.




Min requirement for bachelor of laws is higher (38 excluding bonus points vs PG 38 including bonus points)

IB Eng A HL is very different from IB Eng B HL.  Both are HL subjects but the levels are very different.

HKU LLB conditions this year we received are IB total 38 points excluding bonus points, higher level 19 points or more, and all subject at least 6 points.

The UCL/HKU double LLB requirements are the same with HKU LLB except bonus point must be 39 out of 42 or higher.

This set of conditions is tougher than most likely all of the UK universities including Oxford.

My girls classmate has a PG of 45 and got a CO from Oxford and LSE at 38 and 39 points including bonus points and 766 for HL subjects.  When she received HKU tougher conditions (same as above), she was quoted saying “what do HKU think they are?” Or along this line.

我意思，香港大學Law,以收DSE學生為主。咁DSE英文是second language .學生都讀得掂，那IB English B 學生應該也相若吧。因為剛才大家的討論點在英文晤掂讀law會辛苦

我問ib Eng B SL 得唔得，dse 全人類同一水平，除非大學唔收dse生, 否則一定要選。ib 分水平, 有得揀點解唔揀eng A。

識人HKU law一年後去了oxford law, 佢唔喜歡HKU 通常大班教書形式，oxford 好似師徒制，一個教授帶幾個同學

入得 HKU Law 的DSE 生，英文（和其他科）可能係2-3% 內的尖子。 BBA+LLB 收生更神一點，可能係1-2%的尖子。雖然如此，有個 law professor 在 BBA+LLB seminar 說，不少本地生投拆/埋怨睇書睇唔切。

Better in virtually every way. Oxford Law 當左底褲也比細路讀。

2019 my daughter applied to all these HKU programs and I can tell you her conditions are higher.

BA+LLB at least 39 points not including bonus points, HL subjects at least 19 points and all subjects at least 6.

UCL+LLB at least 39 points not including bonus points, HL subjects at least 19 points and all subjects at least 6.

LLB at least 38 points not including bonus points, HL subjects at least 19 points and all subjects at least 6.
