Calgary 私校唔多，而且應該都係直接收生，唔經agent

想請問, Alberta 同 Ontario 課程有咩分別? 大學收生有無分別?

Alberta 同Ontario 高中課程畢業要求如下( highlight 吓Ontario 省課程要有second language, 社會服務義工時數及有一個英文English public assessment)

大學收生有無分别? ----之前我打過電話問過以下間香港online Ontario eschool, 職員講以OSSD 申請 Ontario 省内嘅大學係 local student身份(申請OUAC101渠道)，local student 會優先出offer的，但用Alberta 課程申請Ontario 省内嘅大學係International student身份(申請OUAC105渠道)，會遲啲收offer的, local student 收晒有位剩後才收International student

利申: 我未fact check, 唔知以上eschool 所講是否屬實。此外，我target 大學係Ontario 省嘅TORONTO、Waterloo、Western、Queen、McMaster etc

後補: 睇返 Ontario 省OUAC 申請大學website, 網站真係寫明唔係Ontario high school day program就要用OUAC105途徑申請 Ontario 大學 https://www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-105/

• You currently reside in Canada (Canadian citizens, permanent residents [landed immigrants] or those currently studying in Canada on a study permit or other visa), or are a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident (landed immigrant) living elsewhere (not in Canada), and you are not currently attending an Ontario high school day program.

Calgary 冇Boarding school, 只可以選擇homestay, 或寄住你朋友家, 或父母陪讀

我小朋友讀緊香港加拿大國際學校, 見現在香港出現多類加拿大不同省學制學校, 所以有此疑問.  

但如果安省大學都以Internation School 身份計分, 咁入讀機會應不大分別了.

想問如果不申請今年九月入學, 下一學期是什麼時間入學?  因為目前仍要隔離14天係HOMESTAY, 可能對小朋友來說都係一個問題.  

請問各位意見如果公校有CALGARY 或 OTTAWA 選, 請問大家會點揀?  沒有親戚在CANADA, 只是阿囡自己一個去, 今年F2.  

求意見.

而家學簽無咁快喎，我上年預早好多攪，或者你問下school board有無deadline

例如呢間https://www.compareschoolrankings.org/school/ab/secondary/9978，ESL 係 0，但之前呢間收咗孩子，當時學校e-mail 同我講學校無 ESL support, 但可以介紹啲機構俾我自行安排ESL


2) 請問是否要pass "ESL"課程,否則影響報大學 ------ 爬 EK 舊文, 前輩網友分享過有影響的. 因為如果學校有 ESL support, EK 舊文有網友講過會係正常上堂 (英文堂) 時抽走學生去上 ESL 英文堂, 咁正常英文堂無上唔達標, 攞唔到相關年級英文科 credit. 唔夠 credit 報大學有影響. 不過, 最好直接問返學校, 攞最 update 資訊好啲

我女讀緊中1，佢地有ESL班上，其實就係有一堂帶d英文唔好既學生去另一地方上英文，若果將來ESL唔pass，可能報大學時都要求佢讀完英文先收佢

謝謝提醒，你講嘅數據我地都知道，只係因為UofT收左仔仔入讀佢最心儀果科，佢覺得機會難得，我地咪俾佢試下囉，一試也無妨，吾想咁快打定輸数。
