KCIS 插班入學試

Hello, 我小朋友3月7日考KCIS，佢今年LS小二，考插班明年KCIS小四。
真心想請教下考試模式係點？

1. 我知有英文數學+英文作文，50 mins？
2. 英作係就咁一條題目然後自己作？邊類題目？幾多字？
3. 有沒有英文gramma? 會否考埋Oral?

在LS係生存，在IS係生活。我想要生活，真係好希望佢考到。歡迎PM.

We've got a similar opportunity.  My son is P1 in local school attending KCIS Yr 3 assessment on comimg Mar 7.

Any advice?  Any preparation needed?

Sorry for the late response... has been away from HK for summer, so not aware of your post...

My boy went for KCIS Year 3 interview in March this year.  It is only written test... as far as my son described, it included reading compre, short essay writting, and some mathematics.

It was an interview (in fact an examination)of 20 candidates for Year 3 at one time. And for Year 2, I saw from the notice board that there were 40 candidates (so 2 batches)…

Result announcement after 3 weeks and we were only on 'holding list'.

In early July, we got an offer from KCIS, but we have already accepted an offer from another school.

I see, thanks for your information. I have just applied KCIS p3 for my son who is now in local school p1. Hope he can get a chance to do the written test. Thanks !

For KCIS, there are four results on written test : reject, waiting list, holding list and accept.  For waiting list, candidate needs to take written test again when they have vacancy.  For holding list, candidate can study once there is a vacancy.
