Then it’s quite a high proportion of pupils from other primary schools who are supposed to be the top ones from all districts, right?
If we can say they’re all the seeds of 5+ English scorers, the 47% (1-53%) of 4 and below are from their own primary students, among whom will be 78.3% (47%/60%). It means the home grown pupils who will score 5+ English comprise only 21.7%, as a ballpark. This is a miscalculation with unreal assumptions, but it tells something we shouldn’t overlook when we compare the elite schools with a through train school. |
