多謝你的提點，我仔只會修讀chem, bio呢兩科，既然無興趣，無謂浪費時間去讀。我就係不太認同親戚所講，所以開post問吓大家意見，我真心獲益良多呀!

好多讀physics出身的都會入金融科技。有些用來解釋physics的理論及數學都應用在金融科。金融機構有諾貝爾物理學家。我姨甥仔做緊金融科技，佢頂頭上司係物理學博士。
不過，最緊要系細路對這科有興趣。無興趣會好辛苦。
各科都會有不同出路，最緊要適合自己，揀返自己興趣及專長。

我認為 Fintech，要數底好，邏輯思考力強，懂編程，最好有些財經底子，有 PhD 係有幫助，而不一定是物理，去到管理階層，以上可能都不重要。

我聽過劍橋教授解釋過，不少僱主請他們的畢業生，主要不是因為讀那一科，反而是那一間大學，跟那一個教授！

另外一點，不少新公司傾向注重員工的 Diversity，男女比例，學科的不同，學歷的不同，種族等等。

要深入些了解，才知道為什麼。

唔係興趣, 又夾硬讀,
讀唔上, 又晒時間,
仲會拉低成績

數底好,邏輯思考力強很重要, 編程是工具, 有強的邏輯思考, 一般要用到的話都不難學.

我外甥讀工程, 數底比較強. 自小聰明, 但中小學時不太專心讀書, 到去外國讀書才開"hill", 返香港在職讀了兩個MPhil.

他因為起步慢, 雖不是什麼名校畢業, 但他的工作能力及持續好學的態度卻令到很多老闆賞識, 對一個年青人來說, 算是平步青雲. 轉了很多工, 相關又幾diversify的, 但每個老闆都給他漂亮的reference letter. 還經常keep住聯絡, 要他回去. 現在做緊金融科技, 他的學歷不是這方面, 沒有財經底子, 他數底好, 他的物理博士老闆就請這類人.
而家在職學緊財經方面的.

大學要有紮實的基礎, 又要有廣闊視野. 年輕人的求知慾不可以熄滅. 每時每刻都要想住求變. 世界變得太快了, 比我們的年代更快.

港大此科收生都較看重 DSE M2 / M1

我侄仔數學好，但高中時，他沒有選physics, 我感奇怪，問他原因，他覺得physics唔易，而且他唔想讀engine, 所以唔揀physics, 反而修Bafs, M2, Econ,
M2 及數攞5*, 讀緊中大精算

Yes.

If most staff come from the same or similar disciplines. May fall into “Group Think “ and Silo Effect”. No good for creativity and innovation.

同意。我囡中四選修ICT時，因為佢唔多打機（玩得最多既遊戲係數獨），都曾經擔心讀唔黎。結果佢program果部分既成績叻過曾癱瘓咗校網既hacker。在選修ICT果班同學中，成績好果班真係覺得好易，唔駛點讀，要背既部分反而係佢地既弱項。成績唔好果班，反而係點努力都唔係好得……所以聽講，坊間冇乜ICT科既名師補習？
