Say if your PG is 44 but eventually u got 43 only, Your CO from HKU may still be ok, right?

大學的CO会講明要幾多分，今年医好似話44/45, 如你PG 44而CO 44, 但只考到43，咪達唔到CO要求

Many many many students get 4A* are rejected for HKU Medicine and Dentistry since they do not have CO or cannot meet the CO eventually.

HKU dental conditional offer requires the UMS is 96% ( 96分 out of 100分) for these 4 subjects.

In general, 85% UMS ( 85分 out of 100分) will award with grade A*.

Since the total mark of each paper in A level are different e.g. 120, 200, 150.  So, the conditional offer required a % of total marks.

Are u sure 85%ums係a*?

Before AL reform, grade A* needs UMS overall >= 80% and UMS A2 subjects >= 90.

The explanation from Cow is more details.

"Before AL reform, grade A* needs UMS overall >= 80% and UMS A2 subjects >= 90"

CUHK website stated that :

"With the changes to the A-level examination system, students who do not have the old scaled marks (UMS) are required to provide raw marks and grade boundaries of each subject right after the release of results. We will use the raw marks and grade boundaries to estimate a percentage mark similar to the one in the previous UMS system. "

I opine that HKU medicine and dentistry would also have the similar requirement.
