如果同學仔去oxbridge  也會有full scholarship (其實學校已比佐佢)

最後他的同學放棄OXBRIDGE 數的 scholarship 入了HKU Medic?

This is a very good documentary video, telling 2 HK elite  students choosing their life pathway. One, Julie who loved Math. very much in her heart but finally chose to do Medicine because her parents told her to do so. Now she spend most of her spare time to do what she has been wanting to do since small. She is not particularly fond of being a doctor. She still not knowing what she want to specialize in even she is in year 5 now. The other one, although she also can chose Medicine, Grace chose what she loves to do and works in a career that she loves to do. She enjoys her working life, and looking forwards to her future challenge.
Do you want to be the Julie's mum or Grace's mum? In their future, who do you think will love what they do? excel and success in their career? Live happier? These are what I valve more for my children.

聽過Oxbridge Math 回來的做小學生補習老師，收入不會差，因起碼$800/hr, 好像投資銀行都會請數的人，不過不是做trading, 收入都不差。但學生要明白，做這些工作比做醫生的成功感和社會地位可以差好遠。如果我是家長，我會問小朋友將來有沒有興趣到大學教數，如果沒有，我會提議讀醫。

What is the difference in quality of teaching for primary level Math conducted by a Oxbridge graduate and a high school graduate?

我諗我仔如果有機會讀 oxbridge maths, 應該還會想讀 PHD, 當然要看他能力，但就算未能讀PHD, 應該也不會考慮做小學生的私人補習。個人覺得小學生補習實在沒必要請牛劍生。

我小朋友沒補習，所以不知找Oxbridge math 人做補習老師做成點，只知有朋友找Oxford 讀數的幫他初小的小朋友補數；也看過商場補習社宣傳它們其中一位補習老師是麻省理工畢業生（印象是幫小朋友補數）；也知道物理phD 在金融機構做電腦程式有關的工作......我自己不是理科人, 但好像讀純理科的學生出路不特別好，希望其他人有更好的資訊吧!

如果選擇Cambridge, 要加把勁考好STEP. 你公子可以付到IMO 的數, 應該STEP 都冇問題.

昨天聽了一個theory
只搏大家一笑
理論上1st honor 人才去邊都是1st honor料:

與其拉車邊只能於頂級學府取三級榮譽
不如取scholarship 去二缐大學攞1st honor

我覺得要看他的興趣行先。
我姨甥仔在Oxford讀Master and PhD 數，
現在在Cambridge 做研究和教PhD， 佢暫時無揀醫科，遲些唔知。
佢爸爸是醫生，十分贊成他讀數。

如果你仔仔有醫生的抱負，就選醫生吧。
如果佢對數有濃厚興趣，就先不計算前途。

U see the professor who got the medal prize of somekind equicalent to the math nobel prize. I definitely believe that he is more successful in this way thsn being a doctor
