新聞話平均分41，同去年一樣，高分多咗，可能低分也多了。

其實IB分數嘅比較，全部都有死穴，不能作凖。例如，喺 Eng A Lit, History 及 Bio 依3科 HL 攞滿分比起在其他某些科目攞滿分就難好多。浄係講攞満分嘅＂狀元＂，意義不大，因為要睇埋邊科。就算係 Phy, Chem, Bio 依3科 HL 攞滿分嘅難度都有一段距離。另外，整體平均分亦要睇間學校有幾多人去美國讀大學。因為美國係比 unconditional offers，我見有好多學生當佢有個美國大學 offer 在手時，就再唔會盡力考好個IB試。總之出嚟嘅成績唔係太差就可以咯。如果有好幾個咁嘅同學，整體平均分自然會被拉低。比較學校之間嘅成績依d野，都只係比media做新聞，不用認真。

唔知大學比45分offer嘅理由。如果係想 show 比人睇係好難入，咁就有d走火入魔。大學除咗睇以往成績及predicted grade之外，又interview埋申請人，好明顯係覺得成績不是一切。大家都知考試有機會失手。如果經過詳細考慮包括interview之後，認定佢係理想人選，就唔應該堅持在分數上攞滿分嘅要求。好似Oxford咁，比得offer你就有信心你係合適嘅人選，offer要求亦唔會高。就算係Cambridge，普遍亦都唔會比咁高嘅offer，因為比得offer你就係覺得你掂，想收你，而唔係想你死。因為些少分數而失去心目中嘅理想人選，以為咁做法代表自己係好叻，其實係好傻。另外，咁做亦不必要地給學生做成沉重嘅壓力，有點不負責任。

舊年平均分有41 都叫失準，有D harsh 喔

睇lB分比較DSE復雜，其實有一樣最重要的是否bilingual diploma, spcc ib Chinese 只可選擇 language A，只有兩個語文料選舉 language and literature A 才是 bilingual diploma，IB 中文A 7分不下於DSE5*,可能接近5**。

如果spcc可選中文B，我諗很多人可以加1分。其實這是對報外國大學的學生做成困難，因為比較大分時會比下去，到比較細分時中文 language and literature 考7分係唔會有優勢。

中文A，chi B, 其他科用英文一樣是bilingual diploma

Receiving a bilingual diploma
A bilingual diploma is awarded to candidates who complete and receive a grade 3 or higher in two languages selected from the DP course studies in language and literature.

Students who gain a grade 3 or higher in studies in language and literature and a grade 3 or higher in an individuals and societies or science subject, completed in a different language, will also receive the bilingual diploma.

My understanding is if you choose Chi B, you can only take Chinese Language, not Chinese language and literature. And there is no Chinese Lan and Lit B.

Therefore, bilingual diploma only applies for students take both language with syllabus A.

有聽過中大医科假如其他分數面試等等相同，bilingual diploma会优先

SPCC IB 2018 results

All 63 of our IB graduates have either received unconditional offers from leading universities or met the requirements of the conditional offers of their choice.  

University Offers
Our IBDP students have received offers from prestigious local and overseas universities, including Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, LSE and UCL in the UK; Cornell, Harvard, Penn, UC Berkeley and UCLA in the US.

IB Results

The average score of our 2018 cohort is 41 (out of a full score of 45).
Of our 63 students, 5 got a score of 45, 10 got a score of 44, and 8 got a score of 43.
24% of our students got a score of 44 or above, compared to the world’s 1.3%.

連續6年都唔敢公佈DSE成績，年年話發力又唔見佢地奪DSE佳績？
