未取消。
個人意見：不必取消，應轉為選修科。

取消前，講清講楚如何用其他方式令全部DSE生獲得原來通識科要求的學習。

And I would view 通識必修課，is one such attempt.  

That is what I said if they want to cancel LS, what else can we do to achieve the same learning outcome?

孩子學校前小學校長曾說過孩子要學習解決今天不存在的問題，好玄，試下用沙士做例子，以往資料並不存在沙士，解決靠断嘗試，反覆探索skill set and mind set, 我們的教育制度有鼓勵和支持這方面發展嗎？

制度係死嘅，問題在應教師培訓中檢討。

考核學生能力嘅標準，應該加入pen and paper 以外嘅東西，課程實際已有，但大部分學校同家長都唔重視，只看為特異工能，奈何！

何需盲目追求通識科的思维訓练？在座有誰在中学时上过所谓通識科？為何不想想如何在其他科目锻炼多角度思维？

可否轉去elective,反正大學有收生自主,唔同學系自然會要求需要有那些考試科目.

思維訓練係必須的，獨立成科則可商確。
