As HFCS is a tradional school, I don't think it will have no acadamic lessons in the afternoon from Monday to Friday. Have you had its time-table?

As I know, the Kowloon City HFCS use all its afternoon lessons for acadmic purpose except Friday. Only 20 minutes (3:00 - 3:20) for homework lessons everyday. What a big difference between these two schools!!

It is true, at Kln Tong the girls are really happy in the afternoon, they have different kinds of extra-curricular activities for 2 hours everyday after lunch, depends if you join or not.  Each girl must join at least one activity.  If there is no activity, then they can do their homework.  They don't need to stay behind after school for activities.  This is really a very good arrangement.

Yes.  Your daughter chooses ballet only?  There are a lot of good activities, some are free or just cost a little.  My daughter is so active that she has activities everyday.  If no activity, they will do homework.
Usually, P.1 has less activities suitable for them, and will increase when they promote to upper grades.

Agreed with Wymom, I really like the arragement too.  My daughter will promote P3, so she gets to chose max. 3 activities. She will probably join Clarinet,節奏樂 & English drama(if she gets in).

As normally we won't have daughters studying in both HFCS, it is difficult to tell.  Yet logically cirriculum of the same school won't differ much as the students will merge into HFCC.

多謝你的回應 ! 我囡囡只對 ballet 最有興趣 . 因為佢 "恨" 左好耐想學 .  由於我見到好多活動都要較大的級別才可以參加 . 所以, 暫時只希望為她報  ballet , 待正式開學時, 如仲有其它活動, 我都想讓囡囡試試 .

如果係咁, 我囡囡一定好開心了, 每天下午都有activities , 唔洗佢坐定定 .

That's OK, my daughter also joined only 1 activity at P.1, and increased gradually in P.2 and P.3.  If no activity, they can almost finish all homework at school, so have more free time after school.

Your girl can try different activities every year, and they have chance to join school competition and performance as well.

Have said before that all activities are held from 1:15-3:15pm, all within school hours, so they can take school bus as normal everyday.
