I also checked the minor languages for IBDP in IBO statistics, less than 10 candidates of a particular language level, about 42 different levels, like Finnish HL and SL counted as two levels.

So 50 candidates are not minority in IBO language context. Political correctness more than resources allocation.

Are you saying IBO gets pressure from China to drop complicated Chinese?

Only very few Chinese in comparison do IBO courses. What does it matter? How about GCSE, A levels etc?

The more bizzare a thing is, the less mysterious it proves to be.

I mean the IS (mentioned one) dropped traditional Chinese because of political correctness, and not IBO,that’s why I check how many language subjects have less than 50 candidates.

I didn’t check AL and other qualifications.

Another reason may be the IS students capability to handle TC. Just reminded me after reading Jasper Tsang’s comment about TC and SC

Luckily enough IBO has statistics how many language subjects less than 10 candidates, 42 languages.

So 50 candidates in IBO is not a minority.

I just don't know who possibly be the one Harrow want to impress with political correctness.

Their potential parents and familes probably don't care too much about Traditional Chinese, or Chinese altogether.
