此獎學金志在給予中學畢業〈中六〉或以上，日後希望在日本的大學〈只限國立大學〉內攻讀學士學位課程之學生申請。

申請狀況            現正接受申請

留學期間
選修文科、理科為期5年〈第1年為日語準備教育課程及4年大學課程〉
若選修醫科、齒科、獸醫科或藥學則為期7年〈第1年為日語準備教育課程及6年大學課程〉

申請資格
年齡：1994年4月2日至2002年4月1日間出生之人士
學歷：中學畢業〈中六〉或以上〈現就讀中六課程者亦可申請〉

赴日日期
2019年4月（如選擇直接入讀大學本科課程〈不入讀首年日語準備教育課程〉，則有機會於2019年9月或10月赴日）

赴日入讀之大學
由文部科學省決定；將根據申請人的志願學科而定〈只限國立大學〉

申請期間
2018年6月20日〈星期三〉，下午5時止

選考方式
1. 文件審查
2. 筆試〈日語、英語、數學〉：2018年6月28日〈星期四〉〈所有申請人〉
    筆試〈化學、生物或物理〉：2018年6月29日〈星期五〉〈只限選修理科的申請人〉
3. 面試：2018年7月19日〈星期四〉
4. 第1次選考合格發表：8月下旬
5. 最終結果發表：翌年1月至2月

*所有申請人必需按照本館之安排下進行筆試和面試。通過文件審查之申請人，將會接獲本館發出的電郵通知，出席日後舉行的筆試和面試。

所有申請人必需提交「募集要項」中第10大點 （1）至（9）之文件，以及護照副本。

就第10大點 （2）直接配置希望大學申請書，如申請人希望直接入讀大學本科課程〈不入讀首年日語準備教育課程〉，則必需提交此項文件，詳情請致電劉小姐〈電話：852-2532-2348〉查詢。

現階段申請人不用提供第10大點中 （6）健康診斷書。待日後通過筆試和面試及獲得推薦後才需提交。

為協助有意申請日本政府獎學金〈學部留學生〉之人士，本館特增設諮詢處服務〈只限獎學金申請之查詢〉，接受諮詢期間如下：
日期： 2018年5月14日〈星期一〉至6月15日〈星期五〉，只限平日
時間： 需預約〈上午10時至中午12時、下午2時至5時〉

> QUALIFICATIONS AND CONDITIONS
applications from international students for study in Japan who satisfy the following qualifications and conditions. Its aim is to foster human resources who will become bridges of friendship between the grantee’s country and Japan through study in Japan and who will contribute to the development of both countries and the wider world.

> (3) Academic Background: Applicants must satisfy any one of the following conditions. However, applicants desiring direct placement must satisfy either the following ① or ③ condition.

① Applicants who have completed 12 years of schooling in countries other than Japan. (Applicants who willmeet the above qualifications by March 2019 are eligible. However, applicants wishing to enroll from the autumn term through direct placement must be expected to complete 12 years of schooling by August
2019.)

② Applicants who have completed their studies at a school equivalent to a Japanese upper secondary school in countries other than Japan. (Applicants who will meet the above qualifications by March 2019 are eligible.)

③ Other than the above ① and ② conditions, applicants who are eligible for enrollment in a Japanese university at the time of application.

(4) Japanese Language: Applicants must be willing to learn Japanese. Applicants must be interested in Japan and be willing to deepen their understanding of Japan before and after arriving in Japan. In addition, in principle, applicants must be willing to carry out their academic studies in Japan in Japanese.

(9) Others: MEXT Scholarship will be granted those who are willing to contribute to mutual understanding between Japan and their home country by participating in activities at schools and communities during their study in Japan while contributing to the internationalization of Japan. They shall also make efforts to promote relations between the home country and Japan by maintaining close relations with the university attended after graduation, cooperating with the conducting of surveys and questionnaires, and cooperating with relevant projects and events conducted by the Japanese diplomatic mission after they return to their home countries.

我見佢  "選考方式" 要 "筆試〈日語、英語、數學〉"：2018年6月28日〈星期四〉〈所有申請人〉, 我估第一關有學開日文, 第二關筆試過關, 領事館以筆試成績 shortlist 學生進行第三關面試.

我閱讀理解係獎學金得主:

① 讀1年日文大學預備班, 係Tokyo University of Foreign Studies 或 Osaka University 讀.

② 日文大學預備班成功完成及達到要求, 獎學金得主 go on to a university designated by MEXT (即是可以入讀日本國立大學, 但邊間大學係 MEXT 安排), 可以用獎學金繼續讀 4 年大學. 但如果日文大學預備班成績唔達標完成唔到課程, 咁呢個獎學金立即中止並要返去原來國家

3. PREPARATORY EDUCATION AND STUDY AT UNIVERSITY
(1) Preparatory Education

① Each grantee will be enrolled at a preparatory educational institution (either at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies or Osaka University) designated by MEXT for the first year of the scholarship period. The preparatory course is a one-year intensive course in the Japanese language and other subjects necessary for preparation for Proceeding to university. Its curriculum mainly consists of education in the Japanese language, and includes other subjects such as Japanese affairs, mathematics, English, and social studies for those majoring in Social Science and Humanities, and physics, chemistry and biology for those majoring in Natural Sciences.

② A grantee who has completed the preparatory education will go on to a university designated by MEXT upon passing its entrance examination undertaken by the university. If a grantee is determined to be incapable of completing the preparatory course, his/her scholarship will be stopped and will be required to return to his/her home country. In such cases, expenses for the return to the home country will not be paid by MEXT.
