I cannot speak for all those who decided not to take the assessments, but some of them do not want to join ESF schools of not their residential zones . For example, many students living in the Hong Kong east want to get into South Island School , but they were only offered to apply for Island School which is in Shatin . So, they decided not to take the entrance assessments

早d計劃係好事，亦要睇埋6,7年後ESF在讀生(宜家K2)升中計劃，近年開嘅新校6,7年後應該有更多trace record参考，到時中學的選擇應該俾宜家更多。宜家計新界區ICHK中學應該也不錯。

我反而覺得而家咁多新IS/PIS, 到時讀得個班自然會揾間有成績的中學轉，仲有一班local school又想轉，到時成績好有Track record 的中學可能比而家更大競爭，始終中學的要求唔同小學幼稚園，中學未必咁想試新校。

Strictly speaking, 2017 result 幾好，average 35.1, 35+ 57.6%, 40+ 19.2%

除左英基，仲有乜打算？你間小學有冇聯繫中學可以優先入讀？

係有聯繫學校，如果當時沒有其他更好offer , 也應該大機會可以去到聯繫學校

也會考慮RC , RC 的admission 應該和ESF 有分別的

My friend was informed by RC admission last week, from next year onwards. A student can only choose one ESF school , this is what they did for primary now! They ask my friend to hurry her application for coming 18/19 otherwise she can only apply 1 ESF !!!

Even for secondary school admission ?

The primary school one form admission aims at reducing admin workload. But for the secondary school admission, I doubt how one form will work.
