其實睇低level睇得深入，不代表比睇高level的小朋友程度差。我識有小朋友可以睇完level 4-5但用自己文字再rewrite返出來，係我眼中佢好叻叻啦，佢睇level幾多已不是問題，因佢已算了解書本及可以應用出嚟，更重要係佢有興趣進入故事裡面。所以父母真的無必要太上心小朋友睇幾深

也是的，ort的英文亦比較舊式一點了，確要看其他書補充一下

Write 比讀高level ort難好多. Ort有個好處是repeat 多，似中文的漢字500, 小朋友易follow 作句

國際學校, 5 歲，睇到level 10. 我估佢可以再睇高啲，但我覺得內容比較深同沈悶，無急切性要睇更高level,反而想揾d更有趣嘅書。
我绝對認同，幾多level 唔重要。小孩能夠明白內容，enjoy 過程，一直keep住興趣更緊要。

You can feel how the kid is going and ready for the next level.

You give him some books in the same stage, if he can handle them without any problem and fluently, then he is ready for the next level.

I'll say ORT, because it is easily available in any public library, and plenty of supply.

But no harm if u can use OST and ORT together. They are no contradictory.

ORT and OST different in the tense. Using both would probably confuse the children.

The more bizzare a thing is, the less mysterious it proves to be.

I don't agree.

They are both basic English for kids, and there is no confusion. And moreover, kids should be encouraged to read more stories by different writers or publishers.
