NAIS, Kellett, Stamford, Malvern and Shrewsbery are all 150K+ for Primary and 180K+ for Secondary per year plus either one-off or annual captial levy.
Assuming all IS will have similar fee increases, ESF will still be roughly 40K-50K cheaper per year. ESF has one off capital levy (30 sth thousand).
If your child will be in IS all the way up to Year 13 and you do prefer ESF, you can think about buying the nomination right (500K) to jump the queue. The total cost works out to be similar or even cheaper. If you have a second child, he/she will have sibling priority after the first child in.
For the nomination, you pay 50K up front for the interview. If the child passes, you will need to pay the balance. If your child fails, 50K will be funded. |
