My son used to studied in Victoria, he had SIS and CDNIS offer last year. But if you aim for IS, anfield has primary. Seems the backup better!

Thanks for sharing! Just curious, when u enrolled ur little one into Vic in the first place, u didn’t have IS school plans yet? So do u think Vic can prepare children’s eng to be good for IS interviews or u have to supplement at home?

If you are serious about Gsis , you need to achieve native level of English. So it Depends on your language environment at home, if you are native English speakers at home, Victoria will be fine. But if you are mainly local family, I think Anfield will provide more English exposure to the kid.

When we enrolled my little one to Victoria, we still haven’t decided which route to go. Victoria provided both English and Cantonese environment, however, we do speak English with my little one at home. We didn’t go for any tuitions. Now he admitted to IS, we try to speak more Cantonese at home.

Thanks for the replies again. So if we have IS plans, seems Anfield is better for maintaining a level of English but my husband prefers Vic PN  as he wants to keep some chinese as well. Does it make sense to put him on Vic PN just for the Chinese exposure? If we do so i guess we will try to supplement English at home and in all other interests classes. Currently my little one speaks more English but not so good at Cantonese and he’s been attending Anfield playgroup for nearly a year. Grateful for any other insights!!

Yes of course you can do it either way and then try to supplement the other language at home/outside.
