其實一般初頭做的分數和用做了幾套SAT練習後的分數差距有多少(進步了幾多分)?
小兒曾經做過一份New SAT official paper, 這是他第一次做SAT,以前只考過advanced SCAT,他SAT有700(read n write)和750(maths). 想問問這個分數要再上,應該只用Princeton review之類的練習不断做?定還是出去專補SAT的補習中心的有效呢?

我女沒有買princeton review. 她考了兩次, 第一次14xx, 她不太滿意，第二次15xx, 她說多做練習

我囝仔都是自修考ACT 和SAT subject tests.

據佢講 ACT 主要做練習去熟習題形，佢買咗 ACT 自己出嘅Official guide 同 Princeton Review ACT practice 做，考到35/36

SAT Subject tests 佢睇咗college board 本official guide, 話某D topics 學校syllabus 冇 cover (佢讀IB) 要自學，但吾深。可能佢考理科 ( maths 2, chem, phy，考到770-800) 比較容易自學。佢用Princeton Review 做 practice. 佢同學借咗本Barons 俾佢但佢話Barons 出得深d. 佢話題目吾深但要熟習佢吾同嘅問題方法同d tricky 地方。

DS got 35/36 in one take; took 3 SAT subject tests (including world history) scoring all above 780/800. Would be happy to help since test-taking is about efficiency i.e. result/input ratio. Standardized tests aren't worth 48 hours of prep in total (死操卷) or even more (some people spent weeks away from school to prep)--you are better off spending those time on extra-curriculars and iB/DSE!

When should the student take the SAT test, etc if wish to apply for USA university, one or two year before admission year?
