好像運動叻都寧願走去HY放棄神校？有因由嗎？

HY 培育學生運動之餘都會好照顧這批運動員的成績。學校會放資源、放老師去幫助這批為運動員讀書。DG着重運動培育，甚至有免費車放學車同學出體院。但成績唔好的運動健將好似冇聽到學校有特別人力、資源照顧他們的學業。不知會否是一些運動員選HY而不選DG之因。

但暫時看到，HY收成績好方面比DG更進取，大部分只收頭5，反而DG就相對少，可能名額有限，要拿多些特異功能生？（所以聽到有些學生成績不是頭頭的家長話今年入DG比HY順利，可能是個別例子。）

头五的亦有可能取SPCC捨DGS呢~~头五選擇多的是~又可以唔想俾学費而入津校~

認同你的分析, 我校的女生情況也是如此, 成績不突出反而入左DGS, 全級頭5名DGS 無OFFER

其實真係好唔明白，明明人哋問MCS or HYS, 無端端又DGS / SPCC 搞乜鬼嘢。

英文成績，MCS比HYS好，理科，HYS一定贏MCS。魚與熊掌，自己揀啦。

As many parents stated before, both schools are elite schools. One should think of which school suit your daughter more instead.
However, some of the comments seems without ground particularly related to DSE results.
The information from both schools are incomplete and indeed difficult to compare fairly.

I try to dig out the data collected by hkpapa.
The following include HYS  2015,2016,2017 and the average figure. I cannot find the data of 2014.
For MCS, I find the data from the MCS website.
Some of the data are from HYS or MCS annual report.
You may judge yourself. (Both schools' DSE performance are clearly top 10 in HK)
However, there is data available for us to compare the performance in various subjects.

你有無上校網去study下高中分科分班的情況和原則，兩間都係勁校，入理科班多叻女揀，睇下哪一間較｢易｣讀到chem.

good analysis. so both school are very similar in terms of performance.  MCS is slightly better.

From the website of MCS, it stated there are 3 groups.For HYS, it only shows the combinations of electives but without mentioning the number of groups. There may be 2 groups only. May be you can call the school office to confirm.
