其實邏輯訓練係需要多諗，唔會係多做機械式練習。機械式練習只可以幫學生掌握程序、步驟，對某啲需要用數字 ...

"多諗"係至勝之道呢!我明白的,不過我都佩服那些對數學不是太喜歡而對基本邏輯又幾好且只願投放時間去多做練習不願呆著望天不停諗不停諗的人又可以响普通數學科取得5的年青人呢!

這正正是DSE的考試模式?仍然離不開舊有的考試制度[如會考?A-level]?

Thank you for all of you comments. I fully agree with your aforesaid proposals. For my past many years, I often find that the professors ( lecturers / teachers ) tried to put some mechanical work ( looking at table to find out the precise figures after few adjustments ) in the exam questions. Push the candidates to memorize formula instead of testing their knowledge. Therefore, I like IP and GCE programs, in which they mention about the knowledge, analysis and applications in the exam questions.

不過還有不少家長還是緬懷過去的AL，事實與現實脫節的考試模式！

其他考試，方程式是提供的，考應用，及思考，而非記性！現在有互聯網，什麼都可以找得到。

有部份孩子真是睇數，諗數，而不是操數！但有問題，就是會傾向跳步驟！

最大挑戰，是要說服他們寫步驟，因為他們覺得好多題目好淺，一睇知答案！於是要勸他們，因為老師及閱卷員沒有你聰明，你要讓一班沒有你們聰明的人明白你如何得出正確答案！所以他們被迫由答案推返步驟出嚟！

這點十分認同老師們的建議,是的,數學能力較強的學生係經常作跳步行為,尤其有選修M1或M2的同學更甚,因為他們用最多之時間响睇數和諗數的腦筋鍛鍊,成績與根基才是最好,故,他們有能力作"跳步"的行為就足以証明呢!而老師亦明白到這點,心知這類學生對著應考普通數學就可能出事呢!"步驟"太少就會出事,所以,老師這建議是十分重要的呢!當年,我的A-Maths科老師亦有同樣的宣告呢!聽番都有些回味的呢!

舊有的考試制度，尤其係 A-Level 既數理科當然唔可能用呢套。

With hindsights, I think research degrees focus on both middle and high level knowledge contribution, not necessary high level only.
