how to start looking for UK boarding?

我個細仔小五， 現在考慮佢中 二或中三中心過去英國寄宿。 亦想了解 在英國讀Ib 同埋 A levels 的情況，音樂獎學金 申請嘅 要求。 我見有唔少香港嘅agent, 但係其實我過幾年才去，咁係咪都可以照去問下資料呢？

雖然我上網都可以初步了解到 有邊幾間 男仔寄宿中學， 但係想知多少少資料又好似唔夠， 而且學校好多， 好驚揀唔啱。 我想請教大家有經驗嘅媽咪 你們係 點樣 尋找適合你哋仔女嘅英國寄宿中學呢？

不算太早, 有些學校小六/中一就要做pre-test/entrance test 的了

留意英國文化協會 ， 各大Agent 都有辦 英國升學展覽 ，有學校代表到香港 ，不坊去下 。

I believe you are saying Acxxxxxx Asia.  Seems the event in this month end is for those who wish to have onsite interview?

Yes I've registered a few seminars taken place in CWB.  There are quite a few agents, are they of similar approach to suggesting schools and handling applications? thanks.

Sorry I have limited info about the kind of tests that are required.  What tests are they?  Are the tests mandatory for most of the good schools?  thanks.

以我所知應該會，你可上佢地網頁，有詳情，好似要預約想考那幾間學校，或者你亦可打電話去AA問清楚。

You may read the old posts for studying UK in 2016 or 2015, which may provide ample of information about the process!

是 ， 這是你其中一個方法 ， 你又可去多幾間 Agent 了解一下，又睇下其他學校比什麼School list 給你， 然後回家看看 學校網頁 ，了解一下學校 ，例如 成績 ， 寄宿生人數 ， Exeat 安排， 學校有沒有安排車往返機場 ， 中國香港/國際學生 比例 ， 星期六日學校有什麼安排等 。
