我個細路已在四歲時做了Stanford Binet test，但我唔覺得他特別醒。應否再做韋氏呢？

BTW，你話報小學時應唔應該講資優呢樣野呢？我又擔心D人會label資優=EQ低。

Hi Dr T,

My son is 27mths, I want to send him to your center to have the IQ test. I have called your centre today and the staff of yr centre said that he is too young for test made in yr center. She then introduced Dr Go to me. She said that their test will be more suitable for the little boy in my son’s age.
I have also called Dr Go for the details, but the nurse could not tell me what kind of test they used and if the report they provided is international recognized

Dr T, could you give me more details, thanks.

通常不太鼓勵少於3歲的小朋友做由心理學家進行的智力測驗,除非是懷疑孩子智力發展有問題...雖然理論上歲半已可做梅柏二氏測試,但老實說可以觀察到的實在不多,因為很多語言部分都未必能夠成功作答.

高醫生那邊做的較接近全面身體檢查,一般情況下應最少顯示出小朋友有沒有發展障礙,但並非智力測驗(這一點我稍後會與秘書姐姐再brief一次).

到了小朋友3歲才考慮做專業心理學家的智力測驗吧...但我明白作為家長這9個月真的很長啊...
