Not sure. QC 2016 DSE results is not the best year comparing to previous years but it is still very scary

Besides, it's class size is much smaller than LS and DBS (DSE + IB). Hence, its distinction rate is higher than the other two.

Having said that, it doesn't mean QC is better than LS / DBS. Personally, I prefer LS / DBS to QC as they have a more balanced school life (academic + ec activities).

雖然LS學生人數比QC多，不過大家intake既學生質素相差好遠。
QC全收B1學生，可能連B1C學生都唔敢報。
而LS放棄收街外叻仔，基本上盡收喇小所有B1+B2同學(自行+統一直屬+叩門)，兩間生源質素相差極大。
但經六年中學培養，出來成績相約。
如果只計LS所收既B1生，相信各指標都會比QC好

SJC student not easy to move to LS and vice versa, because both school established by same organization, they will not compete for the students themselves

The DSE performance of QC in 2016 is poor when compare with 2014 and 2015, but LS is the best since DSE.

It is true that QC is more focus on academic when compare with LS/SJC/DBS

However, nowadays only LS and SJC can let the student to balance the academic performance as well as ECA, DBS was left behind a long way after HKAL changed to DSE

Agreed with you the overall S1 intake quality of QC should be better than LS. Even the students from HRGPS to QC should be all Band 1 but LS need to accept 60 to 70 Band 2 students from its feeder school. In that sense, LS is more value added when comparing the DSE results of these two schools.

However, it is hard say which school among these two has better student intake at the discretionary stage. LS tends to select those boys are smart and all rounded while QC will be more emphasize on academic results.

DBS DSE results are mediocre in recent years but its IB results are as good as SPCC.
