我見到，如果冇 IS  offer ，可能真係要返 local，
咁自由一定有多 D 人認同 local。

其實點解要別人認同？
另外，學校已經call waiting嘛，她不是說自己小朋友passed with waiting嗎，為何仍要搞咁多野？真是莫名其妙！

好似新 IS 都冇位喎，咁可能真係要去 local 囉。
見佢低聲下氣問人新 IS 申請流程。
以前踩其他 IS，踩 LS ，而家搞到咁，都幾慘。

佢踩人地仔女入寶校時，又唔見佢覺得人哋慘？
講真，做父母既有邊個唔想自己仔女入間好學校，但時不與我，入唔到有邊個想？一個冇同理心既人而家感受一下，未必係壞事。

唔通 fail 左? 真係好奇........ 我贊 kindy 好努力幫小朋友入小學, 真係入唔到唯有怨bad luck (其實極少數啦) OR 自己表現唔好 fail 囉! 又俾佢話我睇佢唔起，玻璃心到..........

我都見到自由個 POST, 得啖笑.....

其實佢同果個怨自己個冇用果個, 係考邊間ESF? 真係遇到應該都好易 identify

I think they both applied to SJS and RC.

If I am correct, they are applying for the NT foundation school.
I also live in NT and know that the competition for IS in NT is keen. The famous local KGs are also less likely to take students from NT due to the long distance from school.
I see the desparation of NT parents.
But now I have adjusted my mind and accept that there is no need to limit our choice to the most famous schools.
The route that appear safest may not be the best route.
Let's open our mind to opportunities and embrace the challenges in life!

以往除咗我，有另外兩個 ESF 家長提醒佢講嘢要留一缐。而家咁，真係幫佢唔到，我估好多人心涼。不過我相信佢會開新 account 入 EK。

They said in the other 2 topics that they both applied to SJS + RC.
That was why they both hysterical when their kids failed or were put on waiting lists by both schools.
Well, the math may be right.
When you add the total number of students of ESF kindies, and compare to the total number of places of ESF/PIS Y1, it may seem that there are more Y1 places than enough to take all kids from ESF kindies.
However, ESF/PIS has no obligation to guarantee places for ESF kindie kids. ESF/PIS might give priority to ESF kindie kids to attend the interview. But the ESF/PIS can do screening.
And according to the results from the past 4-5 year, there have been ESF kindie kids that either failed the interviews at both schools, or never made it through the waitlists.
I think this issues is not happening this year only.
So parents should apply more schools, not just ESF & PIS.

The spokeslady's kid attended TY ESF, so more likely KJS.....

The blamer's applied to SJS, I remember now.......

They are completely silent here now

As ESF parents, we're much relieved, honestly, not to "be represented" by someone who is an obvious embarrassment!
