We would be willing to pay even 1 year tuition as deposit if they give us an offer now. We didn’t take our son for interviews everywhere like most of our peers did. We only picked two which we really liked and that was it... two tries, make or miss... PLK is actually the one which we believe to be more suitable for the type of kid that our son is. If he ends up getting rejected, lottery bound he goes... the wait is painful... I hope my son gets conditional offer... Counting on some applicants to turn down their offers...  good luck to all those parents who really want to send their kids to this school and are still waiting...

Received email yesterday.
"Unfortunately, although your daughter impressed us during her admission interview, the quota limit has been reached and we are unable to offer her a place for 2018-19 at this time. However, we would be happy to keep her application in the waiting pool and, should places become available, would gladly offer her a second-round interview."


Don't know if it is a rejection or waiting list or second-round interview. Anyway we have to register at another school first. The registration fee is even higher, over 12k.

Yes grade 2 即系香港的 P.2, 但這学校只有 grade 1 to 5, 到時要轉出去 other intl school 的 grade 6 or ESF grade 7, 吾知難吾難

Yes got rejected as well, do you have foreign passport?

Yes we do. We were optimistic about things until last Friday. One of our friends whose daughter is a lot brighter than our son to be honest, also got rejected as well, and they also hold foreign passports.
Apparently foreign passport doesn’t give an edge... because almost everybody has one

My girl got the offer last week. She has local passport, she is not the kind of talkative and active kid, but she is native in English..... perhaps this is the reason? I’m so happy that she got the offer, and we are not planning to join the lucky draw . The school principal impressed me a lot. I think I’m now the fan of him.

聽講座時有位澳洲腔唐人樣女老師有份講野，我好難聽清楚佢的口音好（雖自問英文不算好），我老公及另一朋友英文好好，也要睇住老師個口型先估到佢講乜，請問呢個老師係教邊科？小朋友也聽得明白佢講乜嗎？

你講嗰位老師，應該係教中文科，佢上堂係用國語教嘅

Does the school have any plans to set up grade 6 and after? PLK group said in the news in June that they did have such plan.  Not sure if it’s still on.
