私校(private independent school) 跟IS 一樣，課程自主，分別在local vs non-local students 比例，由PIS轉  IS，是否減少local 比例？現時PIS相對重視中文，轉IS後中文如何定位？

Not PIS, just private - focus is on English.

PIS must admit at least 70% of students with PR since the land and govt loan is granted to set up the school. ie ISF, ICS, VSA, etc
Private schools have no such restrictions; land/building is privately owned/leased and the school is free to run its own curriculum, set its own admission criteria, etc (subject to EDB approval).

我屋企喺佢附近，前身IMS時，我住屋苑好多外國小朋友都讀果間。

我以前中學喺正對面，交通都算方便，天后地鐵行上去5-10分鐘，個校園都算唔細及周圍環境唔錯。

保良局有辨蔡繼有IB經驗，大把人爭住入，開間喺港島呢邊，應該信得過。

I see.  So Po Leung Kuk will be running a school mainly for the benefits of non-locals.

CKY只是一間本地私校，只是預科才是IB, 宜家講緊係開辦真正嘅國際學校，係兩樣野，IS大把選擇，一間新校，我又唔多信會爭住入。

咁學費唔洗9萬又沒有annual levy，咁都平過好多IS 啦，都唔係冇市場既，最緊要係睇校長咩BACKGROUND
