I seldom express views in EK but really wish to say some fair and good words for the new principal. Up to now, he impresses me and I know many parents with his drive to make the school better and better and his 親和力. I seldom see Principal Daniel Chan in the past but I always find the new Principal greets the students in the morning at the entrance of school frequently. I also learn from my girl that the new principal always chat with students during lunch time and recess. Besides, since Principal LAM comes here, WKF has introduced many new and constructive activies and projects. A no. of talks chaired by him has been organised since Sept 2016 and will be coming in the coming months. It is also noted that a no. of talks/presentations from authors of different nationalities, famous figures of the education or reading sector, like菜姨姨、羅乃萱 have been held. The students have widely widened their horisons and exposures through these activies! Principal LAM also have invited students of the sports team to have early jogging with him around the school some of these days. Knowing that the students in WKF are good at English and fair in Chinese, Principal LAM strongly promotes Chinese reading atmosphere in the school through a no. of measures, with a view that students are not only eager to read English books, but Chinese books as well. Lastly, instead of punishing badly behaved students in negative ways like reflectiion, he always promotes a culture of commendation and prais within the school!
Under his management, as a parent, I find the school move forward positively and with energy As said by one parent during one of the talk, Principal LAM is really a good principal. I am happy to see that WKF is now lead by such a positive and energising principal!
