預備孩子投考IS，家裡需要提供英語環境嗎？

我仔也是讀完傳統K2轉lS，开学2星期，適應得很快。其實不同小孩会適合不同教學模式。我認為你可報定明年lS，另外再观察孩子在K2的表演。有D小孩真的好喜歡做功课，又坐得定。好適合傳統的。反之不適合也的好快在k2现形

ccjm,你好。請問你小朋友現在讀ESF?我仔未能完全full centence對答，入esf是否很難呢？那家長需要in嗎？若入了該校，都只是讀了一年，亦可直升esf primary?

yes, apply now til Sept 30. dont miss out... no exam paper in the interview... basically they just observe, talk and ask simple questions with the kids, not much academic involved... and parent meeting required

其實我想小朋友童年開心D⋯⋯希望build up her confidence and communication more. 我家中英都有用⋯⋯佢英文考時算native. 不過我覺同考local 一樣,學校一定比較鐘意肯開金口同有問有答D小朋友

好個人。可以話係好睇小朋友肯唔肯開声。老師要知道小朋友明唔明白英文，可否對答。明但唔俾反應當你唔識。無乜學術性問題，但主要係要講話。老師知先知你明佢講乜。

可以pm我，你小朋友k2時申請那間IS嗎？现在很頭痕，除了ESF外，不知那間IS好，加上ESF要排好耐，有機會幾年。我想阿仔由幼園轉去IS最好。但剛知道ESF的幼稚園生不是直升ESF Primary的

去年ESF kindy（Tsing Yi)差不多99%直升ESF year 1。

應該收了一咋K2插班，仲講明可exempt有priority for interview.

May i know the format of the parents interview?As a group of parents or individually?
What kind of questions?

Parents were interviewed individually. I don't think parents' interview will affect much the children's interview result, unless you told the interviewer that the children barely speak English at home. There were around 5 questions for the parents. I remember they asked what language the children speak at home, what is the personality, what is the job nature of parents (to see whether you can contribute to the school if the kids enter, I said I will devote much, of course), what do the kid do after school or at weekends, and last, anything you want to tell the school concerning the kid.

ESF 小學沒有直升的。到報小學要再報名及interview。ESF kindergarten 只是有面試的優先權。(是，就算報了都不一定有面試機會）不過如果K2先入ESF就沒有了面試優先權了。

其實，到現在也不知道自己小朋友是否適合讀IS,他只有4歲幾，實在摸不清他屬於傳統/ ...

我二個女都係由york轉去IS 幼稚園，一個插k2,一個插k1,屋企父母講廣東話，工人講英文和廣東話，以前 大女英文我覺得普通，唔夠膽經常講，講左IS 三個月英普都好大改變，由其係K1細女，以前n班返英藝國際班，但普通話都好似唔識咁，k1讀左IS後普通話進步左5成，語境當然要有，但唔需要父母都同佢講英文，佢地返左學自然會好快上手，要轉IS越早轉越好，可以早d識同學仔互動，一齊升班
