Unless your kids are already in secondary school getting ready to apply to university within the next 3-4 years, whatever curriculum is not a huge problem.
Even if your kid is in local cantonese teaching schools, they will be able to pick up english within one year if they move to an english speaking country. So no worries.
Most western curriculum (UK, US, Canada, Australia) more popular in Hong Kong have no problem with accepting children from other western curriculum. I know a lot of children move from all these countries that fit very well in ESF (more UK curriculum in the past, but now IB though).
If you can, by all means move both children to an IS, if that is what you prefer. Otherwise, just let them stay where they are. Spent more time with arranging for immigration. Since they are still small, they probably will be able to move to that country before they are in secondary school.
