文憑試今日放榜，雖然今年只誕生4名狀元創文憑試開考以來的新低，但考評局秘書長唐創時稱今年整體合格率卻創下新高，成績令人鼓舞。但他指選修數學延伸部分的學生人數下跌，情況令人擔心，考評局會再作研究分析原因。

唐創時稱，因為本地出生率下跌，導致報考文憑試的考生人數持續下跌，預計2022年考生人數會跌至谷底，考評局因而面臨虧蝕，將尋找開源節流的方法，例如引入更多其他考試。

對於文憑試狀元人數減少，有人歸咎於因為多尖子多改讀高中學歷國際文憑課程（IB）所致。唐創時就指IB課程與文憑試的考試制度不同，各具特色，適合不同類型的學生，認為多元化考試可帶來良性競爭，考評局將繼續進行試後檢討，邀請海外機構作出質素評估。

數學延伸部份既升學作用太低，越嚟越少人考係正常。

還記得初為父母時，對孩子的期望嗎？我當時只想他/她平平安安，健健康康。
隨著時光飛逝，人的期望慢慢變了，變得越來越有要求。所以要經常提醒自己：毋忘初心！

How about the 4 elites of 2016 ?

Some hearsay, none of them took M1 or M2, I would like to know is it correct !?

So if you want to be 7 x 5** elites, first of all drop or don't take M1 or M2, it's alarming .......

香港的所有大學中好似得Engineering 要求一定要有M1 or M2. Please correct me if I am wrong.
