A-School stands for A grade school or affliated School ?

May I ask whether anyone knows whether " A-school " that appears frequently in their website refers to " Affiliated School " or Grade A Top of the class school ??

thank you . A friend told me that they " pretend " to be top school and called themselves " A school " . She refused to apply the school because of that . I am relieved now .

actually , she also commented that there are students bowing at parents at the school gate on open day .. and she thinks she won't let her child do that in the future . indeed , I think it's a just a way to tell the children how to be polite , I think

honestly , we sometimes need to bow to people depending on what we do too . No big deal .
