Sorry hkpapa852，想再了解清楚多少少，請問是否今年派位是協小最後一年以直屬關係升上中學？2017年尾的升中投考會有多些學位放出來？
另協中好似換校長，不知以後情況又會如何？

無錯！某些學校接受放榜日叩門，你要喺放榜前一星期上學校網頁，睇清楚需要交嘅文件，然後放榜日係小學收到註冊證後，直接過去中學校交文件就得

如果叩門, 有幾間很好的女校, 不防考慮, BPS,  放榜當日可試, 但同區不接受.   (YWG, 今年轉了校長可能不同) 去年,可於放榜前, 預先致電書記(取電郵地址), 再發一個電郵, 向校方闡明願放棄某某直資之OFFER (但不用即時放棄, 如YWG收了才放棄). 她們會打印並放入您女兒的FILE , 當然, 甲部要有YWG, 並有出席面試, 油真(同區也可試, 但最好中, 英, 數 也是甲等).

YWG係無叩門, 以上做法係如果佢有後補位時, 你又係佢WAITING LIST, 佢仍會CALL你咁解, 校長今年特登係ADMISSION TALK時都有提, 但一定係有IN過自行同埋有預先通知校方已TAKE直資, 但對YW仍然好有興趣先得

I like   油真, then HY and last is GH.Convenient ; 油真is the best

現正讀緊P.5既係最後一批收87%入協中...  成績要 D grade 或以上

Agree with crystalwsm, if HY secondary school no need to take girls from HY primary school after two years, the academic of HY secondary school must improve a lot. She can choose all the smart girls. She will compete against DGS.

That's why I think HY is better than GH，this just my opinion

Agree with crystalwsm. Most of the girls from HY primary school are polite and kind.  In fact, their academic are weaker than those from other famous primary schools.  Most likely, only 4-5 girls of HY primary school can be selected into the elite's class.   Others come from other famous primary school.

However, even though she still reserves seats for HY primary school, she can maintain 50% entrance to 3 main Universities. If she no needs to reserves seats for HY primary school after two years. Her academic achievement may be the second among the girls' school.  Actually, DGS still be the first.

The information is given by my friends who have daughters from HY and GH secondary school.

Acutally it is difficult to say. We can take YWGS and BPS as example. They also accept top students in different primary schools but they are yet to become the second best girls school in Hong Kong.

That is because they need to take students from lucky draw.

This year, I know several girls gave up the GH offer and registered in HY.  HY is good not only in academic, but also sports, music, moral, quite comprehensive.

For government school, when compare BPS and YWG, for me, I definitely choose YWG.  In fact, both are good at academic.  However, YWG are better in the new campus and moral education. All the top ten girls of my daughter's school will choose 1 YWG 2 BPS.

Another concern is what does  your daughter like?

I agree with Yanamum. Final decision should by made by the child.
