小四才轉國際小學,可以嗎?

囡囡有中文讀障, 英文成績比較好. (現在小二), 如果小四才轉國際小學,可以嗎?
有那些一條龍學校可以選擇? 中學入U 途徑'經IB 還是其他'?

要轉就早作安排，不用等到小四，因為考國際學校插班也不容易。

小四即是國際學校小五，轉要趁早，有D容易入嘅國際學校，中文可能比本地還深，本地小學嘅英文程度又同國際學校有距離，所以好視乎小朋友性格，是否自動自覺及夠自律。

國際學校大多以英文為第一語言，中文為第二甚至第三語言。
你問那些國際學校中文比本地學校還深？
那請問那些本地學校英文比國際學校還深？有嗎？

Really?
Mind you, harder but does not necessarily better.
I met a guy in the mainland who studies English Literature till PhD level. But he has heavy PTH accent when speaking English and his choice of words is archaic that no one speaks like that anymore. His English is far from good.

I came from a band 1A local 名校and I can assure you that there is no way our English writing can be better than those from IS, (in average). Our school got a >90% grade A in HKCEE but you can see how sucks my writing is , haha.

Of course we need to compare within the same tier, not the best LS with the worst IS or vice versa.

When I was studying MBA in Hk, I had a classmate who is a Doctor ( studying MBA for Doctor programme). His English always amazed me. He came from an unknown primary school ( not 巳被殺校），then a famous secondary (華仁好似）. 佢send 一個普通email 講佢研究過去大學邊度BBQ .寫到非常優雅。以為睇小說。我地成班同學成日話佢10個字有8個字我地唔識。我真系唔知佢d英文點諫番來

If you plan to transfer to international in P4 or above, try to keep the English standard of your kid. Read and write more in English helps a lot. But what's most difficult is the spoken English...

My boy has just been transferred from local school P4 starting from Sept 2015. His Eng proficiency and literacy were not good but have improved a lot especially accent. He enjoys the curriculum and school life so much! We are so happy to make this right decision!
